Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note For Rs. 8,999 And Redmi Note 4G for Rs. 9,999 In India

Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi Note in India. However, instead of launching just one Redmi Note, the Chinese company has launched two versions for the Indian market – the Redmi Note and the Redmi Note 4G. Apart from the obvious difference of 3G and 4G support, there are a couple of differences as well.

Xiaomi Redmi Note

The Redmi Note 3G comes with a 5.5″ IPS LCD display of HD resolution, running on an octa-core Mediatek processor. Apart from that, there’s an 13 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP snapper on the front.

Where the Redmi Note 4G differs from the Redmi Note is the processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, and support for LTE in India.

The Redmi Note and the Redmi Note 4G will both be sold on Flipkart. You’ll have to register for the sale as usual – the sales happen on Tuesdays, on a first-come first-serve basis. However, the Redmi Note 4G will also be sold via Airtel’s own stores. Registrations for the Redmi Note begin tomorrow and the sales commence on December 2nd. The Redmi Note 4G registrations begin by mid-December.
