Instagram Now Allows Users To Share Videos; Update Available On Play Store

Popular photo sharing app for iOS and Android – Instagram announced that they will allow users to share videos too and not just still images. According to Instagram, users will be able to upload up to 15 seconds of video clips. Instagram has also provided several filters to make your videos look more creative (or ugly).

The update is now available on Google Play. Currently only phones running Jellybean are supported. Instagram said that they will provide support for more devices soon.

Compared to popular video sharing service – Vine, Instagram is much better. To begin with processing is much faster. Instagram also allows to edit out parts from the recorded clip. There is support for front camera too ( a feature coming soon to Vine). Not to forget longer videos (15s vs 6s on Vine) and filters!
