Almost a month away from announcement, the Nexus 5 has made an appearance at GFXBench, revealing some impressive specifications. The highly anticipated “pure Android” smartphone from Google packs a Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 1080p screen. The Android version is mentioned as “KeyLimePie” We already know that the next android version (4.4) will be called KitKat. It is possible that this particular phone was running an older 4.4 build at the time of testing.
As far as GPU performance goes, Adreno 330 is very fast compared to its predecessors. It is however upto Google to optimize KitKat so that it can take full advantage of Snapdragon 800 SoC.
