Gameloft has released Asphalt 8: Airborne for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8, costing under a dollar and 2 dollars, respectively. This comes 3 months after the iOS and Android launch, but it’s relatively quicker than ever before for Windows Phone.
It’s a standard arcade racing game – you have just under 50 different cars, a whole bunch of venues and about 180 events. There’s a new gaming engine and some really cool background music, along with the standard set of animations and the likes.
The Windows Phone version supports both HD and WVGA resolutions, but requires at least WP8.
Here’s a teaster trailer the company had released before its Android/iOS
launch, to get you to know the game once.
